Meet The Artist

"How do we communicate, when words just aren’t enough?"

Helen Burke is a professional dancer, performer, and educator originally from Merrimack Valley, MA. She is working towards two Bachelor of Arts degrees, in Communications and in Dance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Her education has sharpened her technical versatility, attention to detail, and professional artistry, thanks to a diverse series of courses and masterclasses. Paired with her employment at the Disney College Program, she has developed the crucial tools for navigating the entertainment industry at a professional level.

Helen’s dance education includes improvisation, ballet, modern, jazz, tap, and contemporary genres. She has received her pre-professional dance training and have assisted dance classes for children at BoSoma School of Dance at their Georgetown location, and through the Dance Education Laboratory (DEL) based in New York City, where she led classes for dancers of all ages across western Massachusetts.

As an educator, Helen is passionate about sharing dance with individuals of all experience levels and backgrounds. She believes in dance and movement exploration as a method of expression, greater than that of words.

She is committed to inspiring those around her in their personal growth through connection within the body and the community. Her focus is to empower those around her through a welcoming, supportive environment, whether they find joy through dance as a professional career or finding joy through movement exploration and creativity.
